I had mine done in April of 03 and I was walking around like nothing two days after. It's not that bad at all. No pain they just want you to take it easy. Good luck and I hope we can get a bunch of us together.

Just wondering, isn't there a lot of traffic on angeles crest, especially on weekends?

I did a test run ON the Fourth of July - late afternoon. I thought it would be crawling with people trying to see the fireworks. On my 80-mile run I only caught up to approx. 5 cars going uphill. There are also side roads where I ran into no one. I'll do another morning run and see what the diff. may be. I hear the biker clubs are on the hill as well. I'm just hoping with all the fires, they don't close down the road.

As far as how long it's going to take...typically 30+ to meet up and wait for everyone, about one hour for the drive...up and down the hill. We can choose to eat or not eat after.
