If anyone is interested in a drive, I'm thinking about going to this tomorrow, july 2. http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread....86&page=1&pp=10
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=271916
The meet is at 12:00 in the san fernando valley, and the canyon drive is either through angeles crest or malibu.

It was posted on a few bmw boards, so it shouldn't be all M3s. Although, it was also posted on a 350z forum, so if I go, I might bring the Z instead.

So is this set for the 24th?

If we don't do malibu or angeles crest, we could try glendora ridge road up to mt. baldy.

Hey Ya'll:

Sunday, July 24th is STILL ON! We can meet at 9am, or earlier, at the Starbucks on Gould Ave., in the plaza just north of Foothill Blvd. We can drive up to Mt. Wilson, (just because that road has few miles of nice tight turns)...then come back to the main highway and continue up the mountain. There is a restaurant, Newcombs Ranch, where we can stop for brunch or come back to La Canada and have lunch down there. (Newcombs may be packed because it's the only dining available for miles.) Just a little BMW "I ACCEPT" waiver that everyone is on their own regarding getting or not getting a permit to stop on the mountain...should a ranger request to see a permit. (Your supposed to have one if you stop anywhere on the mountain. Anyone have experience with this?) Anyway the drive is on, I'll start the list:

I will try to be there but I also have some family obligations that I may not be able to get away from. We'll see.
