Another So Cal Meet N Greet

I'm tentatively planning another MEET - thinking of Sunday July 24th or August 1st. I'm thinking we would start early in the morning again, (no rain this time!), at a to-be-announced Startbucks location. If everyone is tired of Malibu, how does up Los Angeles Crest Highway with a stop at Mt Wilson sound? I'll take any suggestions...I just thought more Inland Empire folk may show up and still get some of you more south or north of LA. Just putting it out there...any thoughts? (Pastries and doughnuts are on me!)

For those of you that may be more adventurous, I'm also making plans for a weekend trip somewhere between S.F. and L.A. - still working on an interesting route and contacting hotels and eateries for prices and availabilities. Dates tbd. I'm thinking some time in the Fall - before rainy weather again.

Drove up L.A. Crest this weekend...really nice day and nice drive. I did not go any further than Mt Wilson. Lot's of places to pull over for a photo op. Anyone know what is beyond Mt. Wilson? I want to check out some other routes as well.
