There are quite a few M5 owners going. Note that the list on that thread was originally from MBworld.com and all the AMG owners, so don't worry, there will be E60's (M5's and M6's) going.

This is where they are meeting for the drive over to OBI. This is from one of the members on M5Board to me. His name is Carl. They are meeting there at 7:30 and leaving the rest stop at 7:45am sharp. Apparently, the lot at OBI is packed by 8:30ish now, so they want to make sure they get spots.

Here are the latest details for the meet THIS Sunday, June 10th. There are 2 meeting spots for the drive to OBI.

1. 7:30am - Rest Stop just past Exit 13 on the SS Parkway for those coming from the city.

2. 8am - Meadowbrook parkway, just before the SS Parkway for those that live on the island. I will be at this meeting spot. If you want to meet up, PM me and I'll give you my cell.

Weather people should be gathered up and shot. Fired up the Beast and was ready to pull out of the garage and head to the Island when I got a message from LI-M5 that it's pouring out there :thumbsdown:

I was there from about 2pm to 4pm. Some nice cars were on display and weather was great. Didn't see (or recognize) anyone from neither here nor M5board though.

 

I talked to Neil. You guys missed out. It never rained once on the drive to the meet or at the meet. You should have come. I called Neil and told him to meet us, but he never showed.

 

Damn. He said it was POURING. Sucks. Yesterday was a total bust for me. Would have been nice to see the Bimmer crew yesterday
