Car is at dealer today with tranny problem, possible no show, unbelievable. This was going to be my first meet & greet, I was really looking forward to it. Especially since I grew up in Malibu, haven't been back there in awhile.

My tranny may be screwed. Shift points all over the place, it is far from smooth. The tach needle is bouncing up and down, when accelerating and coasting down hills, you can feel the car moving back and forth. Not sure if its the tranny or software problem.

Malibu Canyon Meet: July 14th.
Meet Time: 9am

Meet Location: Ralph's parking lot. 23841 West Malibu Road, Malibu, CA 90265
Park in stalls next to PCH, furthest away from the Ralphs entrance
I will bring doughnuts/pastries
Deli inside has a coffee shop

Drive: 10:30am sharp to allow for drive and stop for photo
Route will be disclosed there

Lunch: 12 noon
Restaurant: Duke's, reservation is for 12:00 noon. (I'm leaving it at a quantity of 20...we can ask for more when we get there.)
21150 Pacific Coas Hwy, Malibu, CA 90205 (Between Kanan Rd and Las Virgines)
Parking is supposed to be reserved for our group - at the far end of the parking lot
Not cheap, not expensive...hey it's Malibu!

Don't forget:
walkie-talkies (bring extras for others to use to hear instructions and commentaries during the drive)
extra batteries
cameras
video would be cool too!
barf bags (mostly for VT)
