OK Peeps!
I took a practice drive today! I forgot how tight and NARROW, and windy Corral Canyon is! Strike that route! Besides, I forgot that it ends on a dirt road and there's a lot of rocks on that route! I then did the Latigo Canyon run...I think it's just windy enough...without being too tight. Nice S-turns, alot of 3rd and 2nd gear action...good place to test your suspension and see if your tires rub. The run was not too long - about 30 minutes...ending on Kanan Dume Road and back down to PCH. I may do another run before the meet to add to the route and extend the drive. It is fairly windy so if you have passengers...be forwarned!
I have a call in to Duke's at 21150 Pacific Coas Hwy. (You can check out their website if you'r unfamiliar with them...it's nice and casual.) They have a nice big parking lot compared to the other larger restaurants, and hopefully will be able to accommodate all our cars to be parked together. The banquet service will call me on Monday to verify all our requests as we are a larger group. Unless any of you have other recommendations, this is where I'm making reservations.
The other option is to drive through the mountains to the 101...and eat in Agoura Hills or somewhere near there. Ya'll let me know what you prefer. If this is the case, you can go home via the 101 or go back through the canyons and go home via the coast. Let me know what you think.
Later,
BoBoB

Malibu Canyon Rd. is right by the Ralphs near Pepperdine. You could take Malibu Canyon Rd. turns into Las Virgenes Rd., take that to Mulholland Hwy make a left, take that to Kanan Rd. make another left and then back down to the PCH. You might want to check that route out. Mulholland is pretty nice, some good twistys, you drive through Malibu State Park and by Malibu Lake. It would be a longer drive.

Hey Thanks TK,
I'll try that route next test run!

Las Virgenes is full of commuter traffic and Kanan tends to have lots of cops. If you're interested in more driving after Latigo, you could go north on mulholland and drive more tighter roads like decker. Or for more wide open roads, head south on Mulholland to make your way back towards Dukes.

Instead of turning off of Mulholland onto Kanan. You can just stay on Mulholland it eventually deadins into the PCH.
