Hey peeps,
I want to organize another Meet and Greet, but this time in San Diego sometime in early Fall. There were some San Diego folks that didn't make the Angelus drive b/c it's too far for them. I'm trying to get some kind of resonse as to how many LA/OC people are willing to come to SD?

The Meet point would have to be in SD County like San Marcos. As a reference, from LAX to San Marcos would be 107 miles. From the Meet point to Julian would be another 48 miles. Yes, it would be a really really long ride and day for those coming from LA.

This Meet will also give a chance for members that haven't gotten their car yet to come and meet everyone else and to show off their beauties, the people that missed Angelus Crest due to other committments or their iDrive failing at the most inopportune time.

EDIT: Changed from Socal Meet II to V. Apparently, there has been THREE prior meets before last week's 6/24/06 Meet.

How about Dana Point or San Clemente. That's somewhere inbetween both counties, plus the views are cool. What do you think Jiio?

I bet you're thinking about Ortega Highway from San Juan Capistrano to Lake Elsinore. C'mon try out the Julian drive!

Can I fly down there, get an Audi A6 from Hertz and join you guys?

I might go down there, but let me see how it goes.

Hey km, is there any cool roads up north? Like maybe somewhere in Ventura County. Santa Barbara or something, that sounds like fun.

Santa Barbara (my home town, actually) has lots of cool mountain drives and back roads as well as some great beach spots.....I'm not that familiar with Ventura. The only problem with SB is that it's a long ways for most members.....I know that one forum member (jsal) lives in SB, but everyone else is hours north or south.....that being said....I'd rather go to SB than SD!!
