The agenda is as follows:
1) NorCal and SoCal caravans get to the hotel at 11AM
2) Meet & Greet for about an hour
3) Spiritied drive to Cambria
4) Lunch in Cambria at Las Cambritas restaurant

AFTER LUNCH:
5) Have drinks at Moonstone Bar & Grill or
6) Go to Shamel County Park to chill or
7) Wine tasting at various wineries on the route back to the hotel or
8) Back to hotel and chill at the pool

9) Dinner at 7:30. Most likely at Thai Classic (same restaurant we went to on the last SLO meet in Nov)

I figured I'd give people options for things to do after lunch so we can split up if different people want to do different things.

Have you decided on this trip yet bro?
i'm a 90% go, should be booking this wk.

my bad, i should've been more clear on my inquiry cuz' i've read the agenda on the first post. just curious if we had made a decision on what to do after lunch. personally, i think we should all stick together after lunch rather than splitting up. if ppl wanna do their own thing, they can do it on Sunday. just my 2 cents.

Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll be coming.

Originally I was hoping we could all go a few miles down to the beach at Shamel Park and hang out but I figured people might get bored just sitting around. I wasn't sure if anyone would actually go swimming or what kind of activities we were going to do. Keith (kmslo530i) suggested I just provide some options so people can choose what they want to do. Out of the ones listed, I think either visiting a winery or two on the way back to the hotel or just going back to hang by the pool would be cool.

What do you think?

Yes I do remember. I had too much of a good time that's why I crashed early.

I like the idea of chilling back at the hotel too but just figured some folks might want to do explore things in that area; the beaches and wineries.

How about we head to a winery after lunch and then back to the hotel?

No way I could go: The 18th is the wife's B-Day, she's not into cars, so that means that the last thing she wants to do is go to a meet on her B-Day

Sell her on the idea that it's a getaway weekend which just happens to have a bunch of car nuts along.

She gets to visit SLO. Lunch in Cambria enjoying the weather. Visiting a winery. Kicking back at the hotel pool. Dinner in downtown SLO. Drinks to celebrate her bday (and Joe from Trinity Autosport) at a bar/club afterwards.

You or Mike need to go book your honeymoon suite already.
