Any of you hear about some memorial service being held at Santana Row this Saturday about some guy that crashed his GT3 while driving along with some Ferrari friends? Think the turnout may overshadow the E60 meet? Traffic perhaps ... or no parking to be found?

Undoubtedly a man's tragic death and subsequent memorial will overshadow our little car meet.

But an "audible" may have to be called at some time regarding parking--so that we can all be together.

HOWEVER, I will say this--Santana Row is set up for HUGE shopping crowds over the holiday in terms of parking and logistics.

Hey all, I will give out my cell # just in case anyone gets lost or whatever. We're going to be meeting up at:

Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton at the parking lot where Todai is. 8:45am arrival and departing to Santana Row at 9:00am. The drive should take around 40-45min.

1 Stoneridge Mall Rd Pleasanton, CA 94588

Remember to take a shower, bring your two-ways, fill up your tanks, clean your cars, bring your digicams and get a good breakfast in if you have time before we meet up. Significant others are fine, friends are fine, pets are fine or just driving by yourself is fine too.

Dan
925-270-9681

If you guys want to give out your cell #s too that is also fine........

Hey Jed,

You're right, parking should be fine, the lot is very large and there are several adjacent lots so it's all good. Plus since we're getting there at only 10am-ish it won't be packed just yet. The exotics meet usually starts to pour in after like 10:30-11am.......

Guys, I've pasted the set lunch menu for Straits below. This is the cheaper of the two menu options. $25 a person plus 8.25% tax and 20% gratuity for 20 people will come out to around $33 a person. Is that okay with everyone? I have to sign the contract today and will be responsible for the full value even if people drop out. Please reply by noon or forever hold your peace.

Appetizer:

Roti Prata- grilled Indian flat bread with curry dipping sauce

Satay Chicken- grilled chicken breast skewers with peanut sauce

Entr?e:

Garlic noodles- wok fried noodles with basil, tomatoes and shiitake mushrooms

Salmon Pangang- salmon filet topped with pureed fresh chili, lemongrass,
onions and garlic wrapped in banana leaves and grilled

Wok Tossed Vegetables- Baby bok choy, carrots, Portobello mushrooms and asparagus in a savory oyster sauce

Kari Ayam- boneless breast of chicken in a yellow curry with potatoes
and carrots

Fragrant Jasmine Rice

All menus are served family style and include everything listed under the menu choice. Prices do not include 8.25% sales tax and 20% gratuity.
