My Ride: (USA) 645Ci, Silver Gray, Chateau, Cold Weather PKG, Premium Sound PKG, Sport PKG, Step, NAV [Std Equip in 645], HUD, Satellite (SIRIUS) Radio, Aux Input, Bluetooth enabled using iPhone 3GS w/ adapter cradle - Build date - 01/05, Baby delivered 2/24/05
Our fall event (as opposed to the Spring event) features staying in log cabins in the Gatlinburg, TN area. We were maxed out on our 15 rooms but a couple of folks had to drop out for business reasons.
Event dates are check in on 7 Oct and checkout 12 Oct (any dates in between are also ok).
Room rate not to exceed $155 per room/per night (may be lower)
Basic plan is drive 3 to 5 passes on ToD per morning on Wed, Thur & Fri (Oct, 8, 9 and 10), scenic drives following each days activities on the ToD (such as Cherohala Skyway and other similar drives). Saturday is devoted to scenic drive only on Blue Ridge and some other beautiful routes (NC215, NC151, etc). We dine out for lunch and some dinners. We also do at least one cookout at the cabins in the afternoon and perhaps one breakfast by our fine chefs in the group hosted in one of the three cabins we have reserved.
Some are bringing wives or GF (so far no one is brave enough to bring both). That's why the scenic (read near speed limit) drives to make it more appealing to them (passengers on ToD tend to get a little green around the gills).
Although the core group is e63/64 oriented we have e60s (in M and non M guise), e92 (M and non M) and e46 M3s, and possibly other models as well. All are welcome (well me MIGHT discourage an Audi or M
Post here or PM me for more details. Need final count by August 30th
We have had nothing but great times and driving thrills on all our previous trips and you can too.

Bump to keep it near the top. Definately a great trip.
Getting ready for a run on the Dragon
The newbies and friends
Whose e60? Spotted in Franklin, NC
A 645ci going on a run.
My 550i on the Cherohola.
Three e92 M3s!
Several cars were christened by passing hunting dogs.
Overlooking Gatlinburg
Playing with fire. A cookout with friends.
Great fall colors on a scenic drive.

Here are some additional pictures. These are stills actually taken from the videos I was FORCED to take as my car was a total mess. I had every known (and all the unknown) faults you can have. I had:
DD, ABS, FTM, AS, EGS, ECU, battery terminal, battery, seat belt, restraint system failures. I had no speedometer, no odometer, engine overtemp, only 3 usable gears at times (4,5 & 6 in some cases and then only 1, 2 & 3). Tranny would switch from manual mode to DS to D at random. Lost of fun while 700 miles from home. One alternator fixed all the problems.
So I parked along the side of the ToD and took video of my buds having fun.
These are just some of the many shots. You will see 6ers, 550i (Richard in NC), M3s (e46 & e92) , 335i and 328i.

I have several youtube videos that these came from posted on youtube. I'll have to post links after I get home as that site is not available to me at work.
