What's different from the non-sports-package?

Educate an E39 guy here
The main thing is ARS (Active Roll Sabilzation) with tighter springs and lower profile wheels...but then who but me has stock wheels?

Ah I see. I wouldnt worry about those twisties, though. They weren't overly demanding. Heck, I'm sure even that orange Challenger that we saw would be able to deal with them pretty well.

Hey Chris...I was talking about the twisties that we took on the way home with the Porsche as the lead car (you stayed back at the inn) they were def challenging and left little room for error as they were either woods or rocks on the side. Hopefully you'll be able to be with us on the 20th and you'll see what I'm talking about. You can see what I'm talking about in the video at 5:51. That was the beginning and got more twisty after that. I needed both hands on the wheel

As far as sport package I was just saying that with it the car handled it like a champ. I pushed her and she didn't even blink LOL !! I'm sure non-sport package cars would do a good job as well but may be a diff experience and the threshold of handling as well. Any suspension experts want to chime in?? Greg, Kerry, Cal any thoughts??

Gotcha. A similar place to those is close to the seven lakes, about 3 miles from the bridge that we crossed to get to the lookout in the morning. Those are even more dangerous because whereas in some places you had the median or a rockwall, in there you have either a rock wall or a 30 foot drop. into the forest
