I think I need to learn my car better. It surprised me so much today!!
Snow Hill Road is a tranny killer (and an oil burner)!
Looks like you guys had lots of fun! I had to miss this one due to work. Totally blows! I made preparations on the car specifically for this drive and missed it for something that actually really didn't need my presence. Well there's always next time!

My Ride: 2006 550i Black Saphire/Black Dakota Leather- Loaded- M5 Appearance Package, Sport Package, Pro logic 7 Premium Sound, Navigation, Cold Weather Package, Comfort Package, Heads-up Display, park Distance Control, Bluetooth, Active Steering, Electric Rear Sunshade, Rear Folding Seats, Front/Rear Heated Seats, Xenon lights, Satelite Radio- Extended Maintenance, CPO (Considering Tire/Wheel Insurance)
THIS WAS THE RUN OF ALL MEETS! I did 371 miles in total yesterday...Bayside Queens-Poconos-Milford-NJ-Harriman park-Bear Mountain-TORCHES (Dinner)-Taconic Parkway for 46 miles with 3 motorcycles at 120 all of the way...
In all seriousness, this was incredible and all due to SCOTT-SDG1871...I had the vision and he planned and executed on it. GREAT TEAM! You are now welcomed and an Official PROVEN member of the "Set-up an awesome meet"for E60s.
I think yesterday proved what our cars are capable of (By the way, 2 550i stuck with the M5 on the twisties) of handling beyond our expectations...I AM VERY FORTUNATE NOT TO HAVE GONE OFF THE ROAD INTO THE TREES AND ROCKS! MY BMW SAVED MY LIFE AND CAR!
Can't wait for the pics...We need to start a new thread...

Seriously, Snow Hill Road is so wild and dangerous that we nearly had two casualties -- one car almost went off the road and another car had a transmission malfunction, requiring us to stop so that the car could be shut down. Luckily, the trans re-set after the car was shut off for about 15 minutes.
