They're getting redone. The color is much too flat. I'm going to have them attempt another GunMetal Powder, which is a 3 stage powder process and very difficult to layer. If it doesn't come out to my liking, I'm having them done a high gloss black. The X5 will be completely murdered out. It's not my top choice, but I've already had them done 3 times and I'm still not happy. Ideally, I'm looking for contrast, but if it doesn't happen, then high gloss black will be the final finish. They grey below might look mean, but it's not the finish I'm looking for. This is just a standard, flat, grey. It's just blah...

However, I must admit that when the car is in motion, the wheels look amazing. I followed my wife to the car wash after I came home. She drove the X and I drove my M. The X looked pretty sweet in motion. Unfortunately, it doesn't look the same when standing still.

Never seen so many X's in one place. Nice meet. Thanks for sharing the pics. I think the X is the next series that deserves an "M"! Put that Porsche to sleep.

I like the "flat" look of the wheels, at least in the pic. I think it is a nice contrast to the black shine. My 2 cents.

Nice pics C. You're right, the finish on the wheels are just okay; not wow or anything. How about polishing the face and painting the insides black? Eh....don't think I know what I'm talking about anyways. hahaha
