And whatever you do, DO NOT fill your entire tank with 110 either. In fact, I wouldn't exceed a few gallons of 110 mixed with 93.

Calton's correct in warning against using straight 110. 110 is a waste of money unless you can figure out the correct percentages to accomplish around 96 octane. 100 with 93 is all that you will need. A few gallons 110 mixed with 93 would give the same rating as 1/2 100 and 1/2 93. I am sure if you figure it out on paper, noting how big your fuel tank is you could use either but the safest for all of you is 1/2 100 and 1/2 93 with people that have performance software adding in a little extra 100.

Quick question? When I have put 91 in a car (never mine) after always having 93, I have always noticed it has ran like shit. So if you put 100 in then go back to 93 wont it run like shit? I just think its all a mental masturbation, IMO.

When you run a lower octane there are safety parameters set in the software to use a less aggressive timing value when not using 93 octane or higher. The car will feel better with the higher octane but it will revert back to the previous sensation that you feel when driving with 93. It won't run like shit, just not as strong unless you think your car runs like shit anyway Anthony.

The mind is the most powerful thing in the world! It makes you feel things that might not be the actual, but if you believe it then that's all that matters!

Ravie - Where do you live? Have you decided which caravan you'd like to join the morning of the meet? There's a Long Island caravan and a NJ caravan.

Welcome to the team. Looking forward to meeting you.
