You Really Don't Want Winter Tires During the Summer
Not only will you wear out your winter tires, but there's a price to pay in terms of safety.

Unless your "winter" tires are all-weather tires like the Nokian WRG-3. The summer performance is as good as all-season tires and much better in the winter than all-seasons. I am pushing 70 000 kms on my 2005 BMW 545 6MT with 2 summers so far.
