It's older then you think guys, the Commodore 64 and it's pre the C16 already had sprites in the very early 80's. Your 20Mb harddisks were already mid-eighties.

BTW I have been using an emulator called MAME for years now. It includes all the old games like star wars (vector game) pac man etc. COOL.
