Man, I wish I could be in NYC for the parade. There is nothing like a Yankee Victory parade down the "Canyon of Heroes"!!!!
Let's hope they take care of business tonight and I can wear my Yankee cap and jersey to work tomorrow for Casual Friday - it is sooooo good working in the OC right now, the forlorn looks, the lost confidence, gotta love it!!!!

GO YANKEES!!!!!!!! GO YANKEES!!!!!!!! GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!

One step at a time. First we have to finish crushing the Angels. But assuming we do, I'd love for the Yankees to stomp the Phillies.

No biggie, the SoCal boys have to go play in the cold again - and they don't like that. Hey you know what? I can be a Red Sox now. Because I will be watching the World Series on TV too

Scott, come on. Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, Shane Victorino, Jayson Werth, Chase Utley and Raul Ibanez are exactly the type of players that will lay down and wait to be stomped by the yankees. And so are Cole Hamels and last but not least, Pedro. Remember him?
And that is IF they get a chance to face each other.

I am sure you are pure Major League material at its best. Just not sure in what sport.

Game 7Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at Yankee Stadium (I) in Bronx, New York

Team123456789RHEBoston24020001110130New York001000200351WP: Derek Lowe (1?0) LP: Kevin Brown (0?1)
HRs: BOS ? David Ortiz (3), Johnny Damon 2 (2), Mark Bellhorn (2)

For inspiration for their ALCS comeback, the Red Sox gathered in Yankee Stadium's visitors' clubhouse prior to Game 7 to watch Miracle, the movie chronicling the 1980 U.S. men's gold-medal hockey team.

..........

Pedro Mart?nez relieved Lowe in the seventh inning, receiving loud chants of "Who's Your Daddy?," which intensified as he gave up a sequence of hits, allowing two runs. He eventually raised the velocity of his fastball to the mid-90s and shut down the rally. Mike Timlin and Alan Embree finished out the game. At 12:01 a.m., on October 21, Rub?n Sierra hit a groundball to second baseman Pokey Reese, who threw to first baseman Doug Mientkiewicz to finish the unprecedented comeback. The Red Sox won 10?3 and became the first team in Major League Baseball history to win a seven-game series after losing the first three games. David Ortiz was named the series MVP.
