You're welcome for having gotten rid of Pedro who helped you win (as I predicted).
If I were a New York resident I would be also very excited since they only have one team that's good at anything, which in my opinion is not a real sport since I can do it while I smoke a cigar and drink beer.
Having said that: CONGRATULATIONS FOR WINNING THE W.S.

To those that think the Yankees buy their championships, lets do the math - shall we?
Yankees (#1 in baseball, #2 globally in sports) value - $1.5 Billion/payroll $201 Million = 13.4% of value to payroll
Red Sox (#4 in baseball) value - $833 Million/payroll $123 Million = 14.9% of value to payroll
Hmm, seems like the Yankees expenditures are right in line with other teams, interesting. However, in terms of return on investment? The Yankees far exceed any other team in professional sports - as 27 titles can attest to.

Quote of the night last night:
Michael Kay to Hal:
"So, how important was it for you to win the World Series this year?"
Hal's response:
"C'mon, you've been around here long enough to know, it's important to win EVERY year - it's all that matters."

You forgot hockey
Only two sports that really matter are Football and Basketball, where Mass. dominates with 3 S.B. wins with only one team vs. a combined 4 S.B. with three teams (two of which play in NJ), and 17 NBA championships vs. only 2 NBA championships for NY. I guess they can't dominate where there's a salary cap.
Has anybody else noticed how awesome the Celtics are this year? I smell a number 18 in the making......

Hockey is also not a real sport: It's a combination "ice dancing/soccer-on-ice" game.
