My Ride: 2008 Silverstone II E60 M5 2012 E70 AW X5 50i Sport w/ LCI Aero Kit and Rocker Panels

So for my birthday yesterday, my wife didn't end up getting me an M5 like I wanted

, so I had to settle for the new xBox 360 Elite instead. I do like how this version of xBox has an HDMI output into my TV at 1080p. The graphics and sound are pretty insane. It's too bad it doesn't do sound in Dolby TrueHD. That would be great!

I'm not a huge gamer, but figured that with my custom Home Theater, this would add a new dimension to my media center. I've already connected it through the ethernet port and have joined xBox Live, which is pretty cool. I like how it's not just about gaming.

As for games, the only game I got along with my console is Gears of War, which I must say is pretty intense.

I really want Tiger Woods 2008, but have read reviews of bugs and glitches in this latest version. That said, what other games should I consider? I was thinking of Ghost Recon 2 and Madden.

I know a lot of you out there are big gamers, so I'm looking for a few other ideas. Alpinewhite? I know you're a big gamer...what should I get next? I'm not looking to build an entire library of games, just a few.

Whether you play golf or not. Tiger Woods 2008 is one of the best games. Addictive.

The new Madden is great also. The best Madden yet for the next-gen consoles.

lol. im not that big of a gamer C. but i know the games you should get like: Forza Motorsport 2, Fight Night Round 2 and HALO 3 (coming soon).

i got the new one too with HDMI (not elite). i bought forza 2. while the graphics is stunning, the noise is too loud for my taste (when playing a game). it feels like the fan oven is turned on all the time. i'm returning it tomorrow, get a new one, and see it's just as loud. if it is, then i'm sticking with the wii for now.

by the way, anybody here played bioshock yet? i played it on my pc, and if you're a first person shooter fan, you have got to play it. it's good!

I have a good collection of games for most (if not all) current consoles. The one game that I ended up playing the all the time on my 360 is Rainbow Six Vegas (by Tom Clancy's)... It's that good! Ah, one more thing... Join Xbox Live and be prepared to get t-bag online

Caution: Do not play Rainbow 6 Vegas if you are unable to get by on about 2 hours less sleep a night. That game is seriously addictive and by far the best 360 game out there.

Also get PGR racing with the wheel - drive an M6 on Nurburing!
