hey guys im writing a paper for school and im really getting no where with it. i think i over loaded myself this semester

its a pretty easy subject but my brain is refusing to work at the moment, but i need reasons why college students should not work and go to school at the same time.

just throw out some suggestions that i can elaborate on a little bit

thanks!

I don't condone plagiarism, but it would be a good place to start -- or at least get your mind thinking

Ironically, so the student doesn't have to throw out a request to total strangers on a forum about cars???

As a college student, if you work too much, you could have the following issues:

1. It takes away from time to participate in extracurricular activities, such as sports, student government, outside speakers series, etc..
2. It interferes with a student's connectivity with campus life in general.
3. It diminishes available study time.
4. Less time is there for good recuperative sleep and excercise time.

Now, having said that, I worked my way through college and two master's degrees, so quit whining, put down the bong and the X-Box, and get to work you spoiled e60-driving slacker! J/K

+1 - Worked throughout my college years and could confidently say it did not interfere negatively with any extracurricular activities, - admittedly weekends were always busy but it was hella of a time.

get busy !

I was fortunate enough not to have to work thru college and grad school (thanx mom ). All I can say is that if one is in that same situation, you really don't have an excuse not to excel in your academics, as that should be your job: COLLEGE. Get it done.
