Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. I go to Brasil on business once or twice a year, and have been told to be on the lookout for these Wandering Spiders, especially on weekend trips to the rainforest, Iguazu Falls, etc. I never thought I'd hear of it in the US.

Reminds me of this venomous snake that everyone feared in Costa Rica. There are 135 kinds of snakes down there, but only 17 are venomous. When I moved there, the old man next door came over and said, "If that snake bites you, find the shade of a good tree, sit down, and die like a man." It was a viper called the terciopelo (fer-de-lance). The old guy was exaggerating, since a biologist friend told me it usually takes at least two hours to die from snake bites and terciopelos aren't as aggressive as people say, but I got the message. Basically, what he was saying is you're going to die and there's nothing you can do about it (at least not back in the day when medical help was hours away), so don't run around like an idiot in your final minutes on earth. That was comforting!
