Living in Germany when they hosted the WC back in '06 and watching them get to the semi-finals was completely off the chain!! Don't think they will do so well this time around with Ballack not playing.
Hopefully the U.S. will score more than one goal this time around.

I would prefer Italy not win this year....they were real proud last time.....
Yea the WC in Germany was awesome. I was lucky enough to see a Togo/France game.
Ballack is old anyway...all we need is Schweinsteiger and Podolski. Podolski is about as smart as a loaf of bread, but he can play

I reckon that if the teams have to have all players from their own country (even if some bend the rules to meet that requirement) then the same should apply to the managers/coaches too. It hardly seems fair that countries pay many millions to get a manager from another country. The one earning the most right now I imagine is the England Coach who hails from Italy (Fabio Capello). It's quite a good few years since the England team had an England coach (Graham Taylor I think was the last one, or was it Keegan or Venables). I think Capello is a bloody good manager and if we win it because of him I'll be ecstatic, but it does seem a bit unusual to me that this is allowed to happen. I reckon FIFA should announce that by 2014 or 2018 all teams must use a manager from their own country.
