Ciao England.

Bit disappointed it was 4:1. I'd tipped them to lose by 3:1 in this online tip game thing I'm doing.

Yeah tell me about that and verdict came from BOTH REFEREES, not just one  . This goal could've pumped up the english spirit and turned the game around.

But we have to both admit that the Germans played one HELL OF A GAME. Absolutely wonderful.

Now let me hear a HEELLLL YAAA, for my Argentina for game 2!!!!!!

I know errors happen, after all we are human. But this world cup seems to have more officiating errors than any others.

I've never seen so many errors and missed calls from the officials as I have during this world cup. The standard of refereeing in thus tournament has been shockingly poor - it's nothing short of abysmal. There's little doubt that it is time to bring video replays in to the mix to the extent that the incident involves a disputed goal. We've seen two today alone with Lampard's perfectly good goal not being given and Tevez being clearly offside for the first Argentina goal.

Edit - no such complaints with Tevez' second goal. That one he just scored was a screamer.

Yup, Argentina FTW. But, Argentina is playing Germany in the quarterfinals . Sorry Marc(and my gf who happens to be a MAJOR MULLER/German fan), but this is where your winning streak ENDS .

THAT WAS A DAMN TORPIDO. There was NOOOOO way on earth the goal keeper could've blocked it.
