How can that make for a relaxing stress-free preparation when you have no idea if the coach wants you in the next game and only tells you 2 hours before the game. Crazy. Why does he insist on sticking with 4:4:2 also? None of the players regularly play 442 in their team games in the premier league.

Let's hope so, but I won't be expecting them to be fine. Already took my flag down. Now I'm going to enjoy the rest of the World Cup in the same way as I had to enjoy Euro 2008 (without expecting anything from England (mainly because they weren't in it )).
England always make it harder than it has to be, this year will be no exception. There will always be results you don't expect - who expected Germany or Spain to lose, or France to on the verge of an early exit - but I am confident the players will turn up on Wednesday (not Tuesday, I got ahead of myself in my post above). Wednesday won't be an easy day, but I expect England and the USA to qualify.

Are you serious with both of your answers? WHO ON EARTH DOESNT KNOW WHAT AN AMP DOES.

JUST DROP IT.

back to topic, 2 retired international referees commented on Cannal + and Al Jazira, said that numerous fouls should not have been Yellow cards for both teams(Germany VS Serbia).
The referee was giving yellow cards like giving candy on Halloween.

The poor performance by the English team is quite a shock as I expected them to dominate the group (including dominating the US team).

This World Cup is full of stunning underperformances by so called powerhouse teams. New Zeland playing Italy to a tie??? WTF!

A shirt tug is a penalty. Now its a different matter on how strictly the ref applies this rule. However, I will admit that De Rossi sure made a scene out of it. But technically it was a penalty.
