Added some pictures of the E60 and winter.. lovely weather today. Though.. I'm tempted to either get a grip on photographing, or buy a new camera. To me these pictures look a bit too grainy.

Very nice. What sort of temperatures are around at the moment. And what part of Norway is that?

Fairly mild today - somewhere around -3 to -5'C. These pictures are taken towards the Lofoten islands from my home town Bod?.

The Lofoten islands, seen on the picture below, are ~100km away from my town.. I took this picture from the top of a mountain on an especially cold and clear day

Excellent. Might be worth a visit up there at some stage. I know Sweden is a tad expensive and I reckon Norway must be the same. A lot of the car manufacturers go to Arjeplog in northern Sweden to do winter testing. I am wondering if there is something similiar in Norway?

Very good pictures although they are a bit grainy because most digicams can't cope too well with darker environments or high contrast.
Try (if possible) to put iso too 200-400 manually and compensate colortemperature a bit and fix your lighting to that certain point (your car) by aiming there and holding the shutter button pressed halfway.

Wish we had landscapes like that..

Actually one X3 2.5i and a 5er with what I reckon was xDrive was parked outside my house Sunday. The cars were obviously test cars. Quite a lot of test cars pass by this area, but there are no facilities equal to those of the Arjeplog/Slagn?s area, which is about a four hour drive away from here.

And yes, Norway is expensive. I believe Oslo is the most expensive capital of the world :'(

garehaan: Thanks for the tips. I hardly ever use the manual mode of my camera (Fujifilm FinePix 4700zoom), but I'll try to fiddle a bit with the mentioned settings.

Just out of curiosity, checked what car rental was like in Oslo. A Mondeo sized car for 4 days about Euro600. Sort of expensive alright. Looking at your photograph, the conditions underfoot (or should I say under-tyre) look slippery.
