I was actually just reading up some info on M3s the other day, and apparently the left-over 2009 inventory is about one fifth of what it was at BMW dealers a year ago, so deals will probably be worse than last year. Besides, the F10 is coming out pretty soon - get a used e60 M5 for a year or two and then switch to the new body style already - everyone wins: wife gets her wish, you get to save money AND get a nice F10 M5 when its out. Plus, you might be able to find a used one with some good moddage already attached to it, so you'd save even more! Ask C's Bimmer - his car's falling apart, I'm sure he'd sell it to you cheap. Like buck-fifty or so?

BTW I was following Calton to the exotics4play meet this past Saturday and I got to hear his car at speeds... duuuuuuuuuuuude! 
Its ALL that AND a bag of potato chips!!! And then some! That sound of the V10 ripping through the air... there were Lambos and Astons and Fezzas at that meet, but I can tell you that of the exhausts that I personally heard at that meet, Calton's sounded the best. And you know I wouldn't BS you about something like this!

I had the same thing a year ago when I was looking at cars. I was considering this 545i that I ended up getting and was pondering the situation with the warranty and she was saying I should get a new M5 or preferably a new 911 Turbo. It's just the way she is though. She's only ever had 3 cars and all were bought new. Me though, I've had 23 cars and only 3 were new.
