I thought you all might find this slightly amusing. I'm on Acurazine and I am trying to buy some aftermarket parts for my wife?s TL from someone on the board there. I make a lower offer based on the fact that I would pick it up in NY since he won't ship. He then makes a smart ass response back to me so I tell him based on my time and mileage his part has this value to me and good luck with your parts sale. He then makes this ridiculous rant about people that own TL's now and I know that it is mostly directed at me. He starts bragging about paying cash for his E46 M3 and his 03 CL. I can't stand the maturity of the board over there.

He thought his TL wasn't fast enough? Who the hell buys an Acura for performance? I guess everyone's definition of fast is different, but he's got an M3, so he's clearly thinking sub-5 second 0-60 times is fast for him. But he is somewhat right. He's wrong for going after you for wanting a bargain on parts, but it seems that every kid that sells his high school/college project car moves to an Acura. But to each his own. Hope you get your parts somehow.

Well, if you hang out on Acurazine at all (especially the 3G forum) you know that's not the norm. Most people there are both helpful and courteous. There's always one or two bad apples in the bunch...

)They actually do. His name was BoostedJack. I've been on Acurazine.com (not a drug) for a few years so this one was classic. Very similar to the Diamond thread here, but more ridiculous and full of lies. If you have the time it's a great read. Start with post #108 on page 3.
