Yesterday, a check for $1000 arrived in the mail from BMW NA for the lease of my new X5. As a BMW CCA member, every time you lease or buy a new BMW, they send you a check for $1000. If it's a CPO, you get $500. I've received it before on my prior cars, but each time I get it, I'm always amazed.

Gotta love it! Thanks BMW!

Hmmm...now, what do I want to spend that $1000 on... LOL!

Yes, a great offering from BMWNA! My only complaint is that it varies by model with the 3 series rebate being $500. Despite the fact that my M3 cost more than a 535, a 535 buyer gets $1,000 and I get $500. Still, $500 spends...

Nice!!!!! Unfortunately the reward for a CPO has gone down to $250, but still, I don't know any other club that has a similar benefit. Enjoy the money!

SHAMELESS PLUG: If you want to share a tiny bit of that amount to support my 100-mile bike ride and fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, please PM me. I gave all of mine to the ACS

Hi C's,

I woke up this morning to your beautiful gift in support of the American Cancer Society. People often ask me where I find the strength to ride 100 miles at my age. The answer is easy; I just steer the bike, you and all my supporters do all the pedaling.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Oh, did I say Thank you?
