We have developed another metrics here, my friend wants to buy Z4 so he says he is working on something that's worth "0,3 Z4's" or so.

now is your disdain because you are still being tested on these differences and conversions in school??

I was in about grade 5 when Canada switched to the Metric System around 1975. Just old enough to have understood imperial measures and then had to learn the new system. I think in metric except when it comes to kilograms, I always think in pounds and then convert it in my head.

We don't want to assimilate like the rest of the masses! Oh yea, we're keeping the U.S. Dollar and the British Pound too! Just kidding... Our problem in the U.S. is that old people make those decisions, and they don't want to have to learn something new! Honestly, though, why does it matter? They are both perfectly good units of measure. I live on the Mexican border and travel to Mexico regularly, so I have to understand both....

Only 3 countries in the world are not using the metric system: USA, Myramar and Liberia. but UK is not there?

To add to the complexity, the British pint and gallon are bigger than their US counterpart so there's more to it than just metric or imperial.
