That's called mental disorder imho. I consider also anything related to this matter including tatoos the same but that's just me...but this is outrageous.

Any anaesthetic involved? Cutting the skin like that, I'm amazed she didn't go in to shock and die. Must either be medical anaesthetic, or severe amounts of alcohol, or - most likely - drugs. That's just so wrong. I think tattoos are bad enough when people get older but what will she be like when she is 40 with kids and on holiday. Do they not even think how it will look in 20/30/40/50 years time??

I think most living the "alternative lifestyle" (piercings, tattoos, scarification, goth) don't think of these things. Probably why you don't see many of them in professional roles.

Yeah good question. Maybe skin dripping all over the place and stuff like that....
