Put my summers on March 15. Other vehicle still has the winters on if we get a problem. Not too likely now tho.

You SoCal guys are just too funny!

I threw my rears on today, sanded and spray painted the part of the rotor/hub that always gets rusty, behind the rims (pics). I used Dupli-Color, silver/gray caliper paint from PepBoys....didn't cling very well, but it was probably too cold outside. Eventually it worked...looks nice! Fronts tomorrow and maybe some claying! Wahoo!

Now, I just hope I don't pop a strut or two on Monday on my way to work! I'll be on paranoid, pothole-watch.

As for my rotors, sue me on the overspray! I didn't get a chance to drive afterwards, to knock it off. The entire rotor actually comes painted from factory, as I learned 2 weeks ago when I had my fronts replaced, so I wasn't concerned with overspray on that part. I also painted the visible part of that dust shield behind the rotor & also most of the caliper...color was pretty much a stock satin, perfect.

I'm going to try to put my summers back on tomorrow (if I have time...)

I'm itching to get them back on and, surprisingly, around town they seemed to have done a decent job patching the potholes already...

Yeah, the parkway is great, to be expected though since the "main" parts were pretty much totally redone recently, as you well know. Kudos to PenDOT for getting it right..only took them 2 times! And I know where all the potholes are in between Robinson & Forest Hills to North Versailles...for work, so I should be fine. I can't wait to see if it rides better that my OEM's. My 19's rode great all Summer with no vibration, and I just had them rebalanced yesterday. When I put my 17's on in November, the ride instantly sucked. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed for Monday.

Rudy, do you actually change the wheels yourself & get dirt under your fingernails?! I want some pics of that!

We did get some good rain leaving behind some pretty good potholes, I've had to dodge a few. Especially hate street constructioner, when they leave those steel plates in the middle of the lane...

It REALLY was touch and go around here, all the TV stations on "Stormwatch 2008"....apparently a few raindrops were sighted in Santa Barbara County......I get the chills just thinking about it! And also the freezing 50 degree temps we had to endure around here at night!....Wish us luck, the news says we might get some rain this week too! BTW, what are "Winter Rims"????
