I've never driven a Honda Civic so I don't know how much fun it is. I used to own its main rival, Toyota Corolla and it never gave me a high. Wonder whats the deal with Honda Civic, especially the mid '90s model.

Because they are cheap? And they want to make them like the civics in the fast and furious movie.

Cheap to start with, easy to work on, tons of aftermarket mods available, and tons of potential.

For awhile, there was a huge boy-racer movement toward slapping turbos and s/c's on import vice owning a V8 pony car. The Fast and the Furious movies put the craze on the map. Chrysler even started putting a factory turbo in the Neon to compete.

Potential to smoke 6,8, and 10 cylinder cars on a 1/4 mile.

a fully modified turbo civic from a dig, oh yes it can!!! on a 1/4 mile, M5s are too heavy. They only shine on a rolling start 120mph and above.

Anything can smoke anything with enough money and mods put into it. A corolla could smoke a Ferrari with enough money and mods.

The only difference between Honda Civic drivers and E60 drivers is the entrance fee. They mod their cars, we mod our cars.

Pot...meet kettle.
