My was a Daihatsu Charade 1987 which was given to my by my sister for collage.
had it for 3 years and sold it and it was still working

Mine was a 60 something Dodge Dart. Dirt brown. Pushbutton transmission. I tried to find some pictures but none of them looked like my car. Not ugly enough...

lucky! just like your sig states i think most of us started out in a beater car... i drove a 1990 maxima which i thought was a really good car.. took a beating and was still in prime condition but it had to go the heater wasnt working and the a/c =p + the 140k on it lol

I remember the Charade. As a car, it was appropriately named.

I had a squareback once! (And only once.) My fondest memory of that car was when the throttle cable broke, and my husband had to sit in the back and work the throttle in order for us to get home. (I hope I haven't mangled the anatomy...that's my best recollection anyway...). After we put an engine in it, we decided we'd had enough. Apparently it ran forever for the new owner with no problems....
