My Ride: A Car
Default

Well, since last week I have been getting bad luck. First I crack my Rieger bumper. Still havent had the chance to fix it cuz my stupid Audi couldnt start. Then I caught a cold. Decide to drive my Scion. Today I drove the Scion to my warehouse to load some stuff. Parked it on the sidewalk and got a whopping $115 ticket. The Audi was not starting and misfiring so I decided to change the spark plugs today. I accidentally ripped the spark plug wire by mistake. I then tested it to see if it had spark (yes I know I am an idiot and YES the car was running when I was testing it). I had rubber gloves on and I held onto JUST the wire and got shocked. Now I just ordered some new spark plug wires. I wonder what's in store for me tomorrow?

Oh and I still gotta check the vacuum hoses for the Audi. I might just sell it after fixing it and get a Mini Cooper S after all.

Done venting....

I grab my briefcase and the handle falls off....

That's a massive bitch getting a shock from a spark plug/lead, it's much worse than from mains electricity. The shock of it reminds me of that scene in Final Destination (2? 3?) where someone steps out into the road and gets hit by a bus passing by at about 40mph. It's like that, except only your arm gets hit by the bus.

That sucks John. Hope next week is better. Is there any way to raise your ride a bit. I'm actually surprised that the Rieger kit has fared this well so far. I thought that it would get swallowed up by a pothole given how close it is to the ground. A Mini Cooper sounds nice to me as a second car.
