Just curious what type of person (career, lifestyle, etc) drives a 5 series. May be some good networking opportunities.

Car nut for the last 43 years, owned 39 cars over that period,University graduate in 1966 (Electrical Engineering), Classic Rock fan (but no better on guitar now than in the "swinging sixties"),now retired, still servicing my own car (as I have done since I started on my first Triumph motorcycle in 1960).
Bought my 530d M Sport Auto ,Le Mans Edition new in 2007,my first ever diesel.
Now passing on my lifetime of engineering skills to my grandson.

Yes there have been threads about this over and over again which can be found with the search function.

As far as career choice, I'm a gigolo.

Operations Lead Tech offshore on an Oil rig. 2 weeks at work 3 weeks at home. Excellent job now. When it was 2 on and 2 off it was pretty crap.

Money is good because it is in a dangerous environment and we have to fly in a chopper for 90mins to get to work. Thankfully it is only every 5 weeks now
