I actually ordered the Mac Mini hours after it was announced at MacWorld last January. It arrived sometime last month and sat (still in the box) in my office for weeks as I was out of the country on vacation.
I think MacMini is cool for everyday, normal use (word processing, internet, etc.), but nothing extensive like Photoshop and Final Cut Pro (stuff that I use everyday). The standard 256 MB bites. I upgraded to 512 (the 1GB's price is ridiculous). Since I really don't need another PC at home, I plan to use the Mac Mini as a music server (via iTunes) and connect to the stereo. I don't know exactly how to do that but the guys at the office had done it and I'll ask one of them to hook mine up.
Or perhaps I'll do this with the 525i.

Have to wait for a decent video, dvi or vga in for the idrive so i can transplant it in my car...

Citrix works fine I guess. I really do not use that program very often.
