Thanks to my ipod I currently have somthing like 300 albums with me in the car at all times.

Latest additions to the collection are:

1. The Arctic Monkeys
2. Placebo
3. Queens of the stone age
4. We are scientists

I think the car is best suited to a bit of simon and garfunkel or sigur ros though.

Nice! We could probably compare libraries and have a lot of overlap. I've got stuff from all the artists except #4...

I also have a ticket to the March 27th Arctic Monkeys show in Washington DC. Sooooo pumped!

Sorry, i'm part of the young generation and besides that i'm from Europe wich also matters.
Here most of it is house/progressive house/techno/electric music. That's the music i find myself best with, not to mention clubs and stuff. But that doesn't mean i don't listen to classical music, soft music (especially when with ladies in the car ), allmost all kind of music except rock music or gypsie music (i hate that to the core). Latino, commercial you name it.
u ma' man
same here, Europe and its Dutch & Ibiza dance/house scene and some Rn'B

but as I'm getting old I like the energy song from '80's..... like Depeche Mode as stuff.... there is just something into it...
the modern stuff is kind of on its dead end lately.....

Serious overlap I think you have excellent taste

You've got to love the Arctic Monkey's. They have had MASSIVE success here and there's lot's of talk about if they'll be big in the USA or flop cause you guys just don't relate to an album of songs about going out on the piss in Rotherham.

(I hope you've got some more NIN esp With Teeth)
