Sorry, i'm part of the young generation and besides that i'm from Europe wich also matters.
Here most of it is house/progressive house/techno/electric music. That's the music i find myself best with, not to mention clubs and stuff. But that doesn't mean i don't listen to classical music, soft music (especially when with ladies in the car ), allmost all kind of music except rock music or gypsie music (i hate that to the core). Latino, commercial you name it.

Thanks to my ipod I currently have somthing like 300 albums with me in the car at all times.

Latest additions to the collection are:

1. The Arctic Monkeys
2. Placebo
3. Queens of the stone age
4. We are scientists

I think the car is best suited to a bit of simon and garfunkel or sigur ros though.

I'm with you on this one Mr 5er. Those are 3 of my favorite groups I also like Jazz and Blues.

Since my wife is driving my E60 this week I would have to guess that the CD that's in my car right now is Michael Buble

My in-car cd's include such artists as Ter?sbetoni, Sonata Arctica, Metallica etc. Metal music for the most.

The Rising - Springsteen.

My wife and I went to Ireland the summer of 2002. We are from metro NY and knew a lot of people affected by 9/11. We rented a nice mercedes and I brought only this one CD (she was not happy).

We listened to it for the entire trip and it brings back strong memories whenever played. Ireland, 9/11 and rock and roll.

My ipod has 1000 songs on it and use that to mix it up but The Rising hasn't left my CD player in a couple of years.
