My Ride: 08 550 Carbon Sport Almost everything factory, but no sound upgrades.
This was back in the early 70s in the Dayton, OH area.
I was rebuilding an old Fiat 850 spyder. Everything, not painted, was removed including the windshield. I was driving the freshly painted (obviously illegal) 850 back home when stopped by a Miamisburg, OH lawman.
He walked around the car several times. He could not find head lights or tail lights. There was no license tag, no bumpers. The doors were held shut with a rope.
He finally stopped at the driver side door and said, ?Son, that's a nice paint job, but I?m going to have to site you. You car does not have windshield wipers.? To that I replied, ?Sir, I don?t have a windshield.?
He wrote the citation, and instructed me to park the car and have it towed back home.
