Are you kidding? This thing is poetry. The whole scene is gold wire and enameling. Three dimensionally created. The flora and fauna literally leap into action pushing the minute repeater. It is one of the most extraordinary feats of workmanship ever. So sorry you don't appreciate it.

dont get me wrong dude its allright at best, but i am also the same person that thinks the mona lisa is just a painting of a chick, and ive seen way finer chicks out there..

but back to the original question, just curious but. how does one become able to afford such a piece of "craftsmanship" to begin with

Wow. They gotta be worth $20 million minimum. It's not a question because I wouldn't expect you to answer. But in a word: BALLER

No one in his right mind would argue that the timepiece is not exquisitely well-made and, literally, a work of art. I can certainly appreciate that. However, it is so busy and extravagantly colorful as to appear gawdy to most everyone except Sir Elton John.

"The flora and fauna literally leap into action pushing the minute repeater."

While I certainly can value the verbiage contained, this is without a doubt the gayest description of a man's watch I have ever heard.

I can't really justify making a large purchase +$500 or more for a watch due to my budget but I am very happy I finally got a nice watch for a great deal this past weekend. I picked up this model for under $300....
