Wanna rent a fast car in Vegas to drive on a track

Anybody here ever rent exotic cars and race them on the track in Vegas? If so, please share your experience (pro's/con's). It seems some outfits sell deals like 6 laps around the track for $300.00 or whatever. Sounds fun but I'm wondering if it's worth it..
