My Ride: Bmw 530d 2004
Me and my girlfriend are still on our Christmas holidays, so we are having time to do all the fun stuff.
Today we drove to Hepok?ng?s. A straight translation would be "Horsy steep". It's one of the tallest water falls that we have running wild. It's not a Niagara, only 25 meters (82 feet) tall, but quite impressive anyway. At this time of winter it's covered with ice, but the water runs under it all of course.
The weather was ideal so I took pics .
Heading there through the woods:
Many different hiking routes goes via Hepok?ng?s:
A bridge over the small creek that runs to water fall:
"And a river runs through it":
Down in a canyon:
I suggested swimming, but Kaisa didn't agree:
The fall is covered with ice. Too bad there was so much snow on the ice, it would have been beautiful:
You can canoe all the way to the Gulf of Bothnia along that little creek:
Ice on the water:
Heading home:
Here's a couple of short videos:
At the Hepok?ng?s
On the road (I changed the music because I was playing Pantera in the car and it really didn't fit the view )

Stunning photos, Antti. Was it too cold for Eric? I didn't see him with you. Probably left him home to cook or clean...
