Valve (makers of Half Life) released Steam for the Mac today. Valve are also offering the most excellent Portal for free until 5/24 to celebrate the Mac release of Steam. Some other excellent titles are now available on the Mac thanks to Valve bringing Steam to the platform.

Well worth a look for any Mac user/Mac gamer.

Really I thought I heard steam got shut down for CS, unless source is still up and running. Hmmm makes me want to go buy the game now and play.

Yep - good games don't date. I'd much rather play Half Life or Counterstrike than the vast majority of the derivative crap that gets released today.

And a game as good as Portal - for free - is to good to miss!

And yes it's good more games come native to Macs. Till now the vast majority were Cedega based or Wine based (emulators).

Now i await for Starcraft II and Diablo III. It's good that blizzard made available their win games on macs also.

I just bought counter strike source dam i guess a lot of people still be playing not use to the graphic since i havent played source before.
