He smashes the World record (his own 9.69 mark from last summer's Olympics) by running a blistering 9.58s in the 100m finals. USA's Tyson Gay ran second with a n impressive 9.71s!!

Any he has to have the ability to jump and catch the ball. We know that he can smoke the DBs.
The catch is the catch. Speed is one thing. Be able to catch the ball and stick it is very important.

Tough to dispute that Bolt is, far by, the best sprinter who has ever lived.

Oops, he did it again...this time in the 200m race resetting his 19.30s mark from Beijing down to a staggering 19.19s

For some perspective on how impressive a feat this is, the progression of this record is as follows;

Tommie Smith 19.83s in 1968 (1st sub 20s time at this distance. record stood for 11 years)
Pietro Mennea 19.72s in 1979 (This stood for 17years)
Micheal Johnson 19.66s then 19.32s in 1996 (The latter mark stood for 12years)
Usain Bolt 19.30s in 2008
Usain Bolt 19.19s in 2009 (he looked less stressed setting this mark than he did the 19.30s mark. )

The split times are insane:

1st 100m = 9.50sec
2nd 100m = 9.69sec

Holy crap. And he says that he can run the second 100m faster...
