My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
This ranks right up there with the $800 hammers and $300 toilet seats. Please, rest assured your military is not that stupid. These budgetary anomalies are actually a great way to conceal funding for black ops (of which there are thousands).

cost of this war ... multiply this by the number of US lives lost already! Do we really expect to change the way of life in this region of the world? ?
it will go on for ever

The thing it doesn't tell is what type of fuel. Having license for almost every Marine Corps combat vehicles I can
tell you there are multiple types, all for other reasons. The main one being diesel. Another is JP8. Almost every truck out there has a
Armor to protect the troops. Which makes every vehicle burn even more fuel(but is necessary to keep them from harm) . Afghanistan is a different war then Iraq. It is a logistical nightmare. But everything we do is for a reason
I can tell you that your money is not being wasted by the military. The military has built multiple schools out their because the
Terrorist destroy them. We are there to help them and mentor them.

$400 a gallon doesn't add up, for any fuel type, for any type of vehicle, regardless of amount of armor on the vehicle. period.
