anyone of you guys is planning to go to at least one of the auto shows next year? i personally want to go to the one in detroit (naias) since it ranks with frankfurt, geneva, and tokyo as one of the most important automotive shows of the year but the one in lax is much closer for me :'(. the chicago one is the largest, 1.2 million square feet of exhibit space all on one level ! i wish i could go to all of them :'(.

I go to the NY show every year. It is really great. Two floors, cars upstairs and trucks/SUVs/Minivans downstairs. They have some wild displays. One year BMW had all their models lined up on the wall in height order. Very cool looking. The same year Audi introduced the TT they had an elevated race track with about five TT's on the track above the show. Last year Jeep had an off road couse setup inside with tons of mud and water. They have been introducing new models here more often lately.

[/quote]The show in Boston is tiny as well, that's why me and all my buddies head down to NYC and make a weekend out of it. Spend about 4 hours at the show and head out to the bars. Leave the wives at home. We have been doing it about ten years in a row.
