I was looking at cars on autotrader because i have nothing better to do on new years eve thanks to my parents, when i came across this... I wonder if anyone has ever asked the owner if he knows its "bimmer", I know most people don't know that and I'm not one to correct someone when they say beemer but IMO, if you're selling BMWs you should at least know the difference

What constitutes the correct usage of Bimmer and Beemer is, in fact, country specific... Beemer is not just limited to motorcycles. Over in the UK and other places, Beemer is a perfectly legitimate slang description for the cars.
