I guess they got too big for their boots. Hence the reliability issues.

Honda, GM, Ford are probably gloating over this.

This stems from accidents/deaths caused by their floormats slipping and jamming the accelerator. At first it seemed limited to Lexus, but recently I've been reading articles about Camrys in the same situation.

I sure do hope Toyota's legal defense funds aren't low - they are probably going to spend quite some time in the courtroom.
