My Ride: 2008 535i w/ Sports & Permium Pkg. Silv/Blk
2008 VW R32 w/Nav.
1992 VW Corrado Silv/Blk-retired
2001 530i Sports/Premium-retired
So I took the VW out on the long empty stretch of road close to the house, and did a little test of my own (sorry no vid.)......accelerated up to 80 mph and hit the brake with my left foot while keep my right in the gas........(good thing I didn't try this on the highway), the car aggressively downshifted through the gears to 1st while the brakes hauled her down to a complete stop.
I won't try it with the 5er, (prob get ejected out the windshield) but I do have a question; any of you ever tried shifting the SAT into neutral while the car was moving?
