After a few months of looking for the opportunity, I hit top speed around 152-155 mph on a Los Angeles freeway (134 - around 6 pm if you can believe it was open enough for a moment!) for about 3 seconds. *

just over 140 on a stretch of the m40 coming back from london at about 3am. It was one of the bits thats straight and you can see any cop or other car for a fair few miles so i floored it up from 90. touched 140ish then saw another car in distance so broke back down to 80/90 ish
was increadibly stable and quiet even at that speed

My Ride: -SOLD- 530i Alpine White. Sport package, comfort seat package, premium sound package, power rear shade, premium package, rear red reflectors, and adaptive headlights with xenon’s
I hit a bit over 130 on my way to LA on the 5 just before hitting the Grapevine. There was no on ramps, a perfect place for it. That was fast enough, I was to worried about getting a ticket going that fast.

I hit 105mph on the interstate in Tampa. Normally cruise at 85mph.
Gotta watch it. Troopers and speedtraps.
Wish they would have some kind of highway amnesty for several hours on a Sunday where folks with high-powered vehicles can drive like you can on the Autobahn without worrying about getting a summons. Sure would like to check out my baby's true potential without constantly looking over my shoulder.
